Registration
Online registration must be completed annually through the website, www.uecprograms.com. The registration fee is $20 per child. To complete registration:

Please note that your child(ren) will only be enrolled once all portions of the registration process are complete.
We will notify parents of returning participants if last year’s paperwork is incomplete.
All students must be registered in order to attend before and/or aftercare. For liability reasons, we are not able to accept any unregistered children, even in emergency situations. Unregistered children will not admitted into aftercare.

Payment Information
Tuition Payments
Invoices will be emailed to Monthly, Weekly and Daily Participants. Drop-In participants should pay by credit card online at www.uecprograms.com. Please make checks payable to “UEC.” Monthly payments are due by 6:00pm on the first school day of the month. Weekly payments are due by 6:00pm on Monday. Daily payments are due by 6:00pm on the day of service. Drop-Ins are due by 12pm the day of service for after care and by 9pm the evening before for before care. Payments that are not received by specified time on the due date are subject to a $10 late fee.
Credit Card Authorization
All participants must have a valid credit card on file. Weekly and Daily students will be charged via credit card on file by 6:00pm on Monday or the day of care. Monthly participants will be charged via card on file by 6:00pm on the first school day of the month. If you wish to pay through the invoice or with check/money order; it must be done prior to 6:00pm on the due date. In the event that a payment has not been settled by the due date, the credit card will be processed. UEC will charge a 10% fee to process Drop-In payments.
Late Fees
Students who are picked up after 6:00 will incur a $1/minute late fee. Late payments are subject to a $10/day late fee and retuned checks will incur a $30 returned check fee. Past due balances will result in your child’s aftercare services being frozen, and must be settled before they can return to aftercare. Late fees paid by invoice and online will incur a fee of 2.9% + .30.
Monthly/Weekly Schedule Changes
Please contact us if you wish to change your child’s attendance schedule. Monthly/Weekly changes will not be permitted November through March.
Aug & Jun Payments
Please note that during the months of August and June we will only offer weekly and daily payment options. The monthly payment option will begin on September 1st and end on May 1st.
Daily payments for August 28-31 will be required prior to the September 1st monthly payment.
Policies
Payment Policy
Tuition is due by 6pm on the due date. All participants must have a valid credit card on file. Credit cards will be processed via Credit Card Authorization in the event your payment is delinquent. A payment becomes delinquent after 6pm on the due date. Late Payments will incur a $10/day late fee. Authorized recurring payments will be processed on the day indicated below. Monthly payment options will begin on September 1st and end on May 1st.
Drop-In Payments must be completed through the website by the due date/time indicated below. UEC will charge a 10% fee to process Drop-In payments that are delinquent.
Covid-19
United Educational Corp Programs (UEC) along with Maryland State Department of Education has developed health and safety protocols for childcare during the COVID-19 pandemic, based on the latest medical research, best practices, and input from the Baltimore City Health Department, our public health advisors, and other stakeholders. We are implementing the five key mitigation strategies recommended by the CDC for in-person learning including masking, social distancing, hand washing, cleaning and disinfecting, and contact tracing.
Pick-Up Policy
After care closes at 6pm. All children must be picked up by 6pm. Please sign your child(ren) out daily on the attendance roster. Late pick-ups will incur a $1.00 per minute late fee, due immediately upon arrival. Excessive late pick-ups will result in your child being removed from the program. If you are running late, please give us a courtesy call.
Visit out website and complete the attendance/child pick up schedule change form to add anyone who is picking your child up who is not already listed as an emergency contact on his/her registration form. You should also follow that up with a text, call or email. Please be prepared to show ID when picking up until we are able to readily recognize you.
Inclement Weather Policy
UEC follows Baltimore City Public Schools for weather closing
Please check local television and radio stations for BCPSS closing as well as email alerts from UEC
Illness Policy
If your child is experiencing any of the following symptoms you will be required to pick your child up promptly.
- Fever of 100°F or higher
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting (2 or more times in 24 hours)
- Excessive scratching of body or scalp or other spots that resemble ringworm
- Runny nose (other than clear), draining of eyes or ears, including mucus in the eye that resembles pink eye.
Cell Phone Policy
Cell phones are not be permitted to be used during before/after care. We will not be held responsible for lost or damaged devices.
