Registration

Tuition
- Tuition payments are due in advance
- Tuition payments must be made by 6pm on Tuesday the week prior to secure your spot
- Failure to make payment by due date will result in forfeiture of your spot
- Invoices will be emailed to the email address on the registration form
- Payments will only be accepted electronically through the invoicing system
- Due to COVID-19 safety concerns, we will not be accepting cash or checks
- A two (2) week written notice of withdrawal from the program is required
- If this notification is not provided, all tuition and fees for two (2) weeks must be paid, whether or not the child attends
- 10% off 2nd and 3rd child discount applies to siblings in the same household
Drop Off and Pick Up
Morning Drop-Off
- Morning drop off will occur on a staggered schedule
- This schedule will be arranged in advance based on an agreeable time between the parent and UEC
- Drop off will made on the Lochlea Rd.
- Drive down the hill toward Sulgrave
- Park on the left hand side (at the curb side of the school)
- Stay in your vehicle
- UEC staff will be at the curb to accept your child
Afternoon/Evening Pick-Up
- Pick-up will occur in the same manner of morning drop-off
- Park on the school side of Lochlea Rd. going down the hill
- Remain in your vehicle
- Your child will be escorted form the building to your car
Covid-19 Guidance
- Temperature and symptom screening will be conducted daily on each child upon arrival to the program
- The child’s parent/guardian should use a personal thermometer brought from home
- Children with a fever (100.4o or greater), other signs of illness, or who have persons in the household with symptoms of COVID-19 will not be admitted
NOTE: Children returning to care after having a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19 should have a note from their health care provider documenting that they have been released from isolation and may return to work or care.
In accordance with MSDE, we will be following the enhanced guidelines for childcare facilities to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These include, but are not limited to:
- social distancing within groups no larger than 15
- frequent hand washing
- cleaning/disinfecting several times a day
- providing adequate supplies for good hygiene
- instructing parents and staff to monitor symptoms and remain home if they or anyone in the household is sick
Support with Virtual School
We anticipate to follow Baltimore City’s schedule for synchronous virtual learning. As described by BCPSS, synchronous learning occurs when instruction is being led by the teacher and all students are online at the same time.
Students will need to bring their device and headphones for virtual learning. We are unable to provide this equipment for students. Baltimore City Schools is providing laptops for BCPSS students. Contact North Avenue if you are in need. BCPSS charter school students should contact their specific school for a laptop.
